President of India Parnab Mukherjee introduced the latest version of the series of cheapest tablet made by UK-based company Datawind. This time the tablet is more cheaper then the other one and have some good specifications which we can't expect at this great price. This new Datawind tablet is named as Aakash 2. This tablet is mainly introduced for the students and the peoples who can't afford heavy price tablets. Aakash 2 will be provided to students at a subsidized price of Rs. 1,130/-.
Aakash tablet(Older version) runs on Android 2.2 Operating system while the Aakash 2 runs on Android 4.0 operating system. The earlier version runs on 366MHz processor while the latest version runs on 1GHz cortex A8 processor. Aakash 2 tablet is supported by 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory and it can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card slot. The other good upgrade is the placement of a front-facing camera and now it supports Wi-Fi too. The latest Aakash 2 features a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with display resolution 800 x 480 pixels which is an upgrade to the earlier version which has resistive touchscreen.
